ASELSAN's family of expendable kamikaze underwater drones, unveiled in 2026.
Kılıç (Turkish for 'sword') is a family of one-way attack underwater drones from Turkish defence company ASELSAN, shown at SAHA Expo in 2026. The small Kılıç 10 and the 3.5-metre Kılıç 200 run just below the surface towards ships or underwater targets and destroy them on impact, navigating without GPS when needed. ASELSAN pitches them as cheap, expendable weapons that can be launched from shore or ships and used in coordinated swarms.

Two sizes: the Kılıç 10 is 1.2 m long, 28 cm in diameter, with a 10 nmi range and optional fibre-optic control; the Kılıç 200 is 3.5 m long, 32.4 cm in diameter, about 300 kg, with a 100 nmi range extendable to 200 nmi with an extra battery (Kılıç 200 range converted to km). Both dive to 30 m. Navigation combines an IMU, GNSS, cameras and odometers for GNSS-denied operation, with satellite, RF and acoustic links. Janes reports integrated warheads, while EDR says warhead details were not given; speed is classified. ASELSAN says they can be launched from land or ships and operate in swarms.
