Visão geral
Oceaneering's high-speed work-class ROV built to hold station in strong tidal currents.
Isurus is a work-class remotely operated vehicle that Oceaneering developed for the strong currents found at offshore wind farms and tidal energy sites, where ordinary ROVs struggle to hold position. Named with the genus of the mako shark, it uses 170 hp of hydraulic power to reach five knots and keep working in fast-moving water down to 3,000 m. It carries two manipulators for construction and maintenance work. Oceaneering introduced it in 2019 and had six in its fleet by 2022.
