Overview

Saronic's smallest autonomous boat, a 6 ft sensor-carrying vessel for short-range surveillance and swarms.

Spyglass is the smallest vessel in Saronic Technologies' autonomous fleet, a 6 ft boat that a couple of people can carry and launch. It reaches about 20 knots and has a range of around 30 nautical miles, carrying advanced sensors and a configurable payload bay for roughly 40 lb of equipment. Spyglass is meant for short-range surveillance, harbour and base security, and scouting ahead of larger vessels, and it shares Saronic's autonomy software so that many small boats can work together as a coordinated swarm. Its low cost and size make it suitable for buying and deploying in large numbers.
