Overview

Two-person-portable 1.7 m survey ASV from Seafloor Systems for inland and nearshore hydrography.

The EchoBoat-160 is a small autonomous survey boat from California's Seafloor Systems, light enough for two people to carry to a riverbank, lake or harbour. Its plastic hull carries professional sonars, from a simple depth sounder to a multibeam, along with current profilers and magnetometers, and it can follow pre-programmed survey lines for up to eight hours. It is one of the most widely used small hydrographic ASVs, sold through dealers worldwide.
