概述
Saipem's full-electric work-class ROV, the heavy-duty member of the Hydrone family.
Hydrone-W is the work-class member of Saipem's Hydrone family of subsea drones, an all-electric ROV built for heavy intervention. About 2.8 m long and 4.2 tonnes, it dives to 3,000 m as standard or 4,000 m as an option, lifts 3,000 kg through its frame, and powers a manipulator, a grabber, and up to five 40 kW electric tool stations. Going fully electric removes hydraulic systems, simplifying maintenance and cutting emissions. Italy's environmental research institute ISPRA ordered one for its oceanographic vessel Arcadia.
