Oceaneering's 220 hp heavy work-class ROV, a mainstay of offshore drilling and subsea construction worldwide.
Millennium Plus is Oceaneering's 220-horsepower heavy work-class remotely operated vehicle, part of one of the world's largest commercial ROV fleets. It is rated to 3,000 m as standard and 4,000 m as an option, and is launched from support vessels or drilling rigs either through a tether management system on top or in a protective cage. Two high-performance hydraulic manipulators and swappable tooling skids let pilots operate valves, cut and lift, install and connect subsea equipment, and support drilling around the clock. An upgraded thruster layout gives it more than 50% more lift than the earlier Millennium, and fly-by-wire controls hold it steady in currents. Work-class ROVs like this do much of the heavy lifting on offshore oil, gas, and wind projects.
