Visão geral
Open-architecture 8.5 kg micro AUV from France's RTsys, rated to 300 m.
NemoSens is a micro autonomous underwater vehicle from RTsys, a French maker of underwater acoustics and drones. Weighing under 10 kg, it can be launched by hand from a small boat or the shore and runs for hours at up to 300 metres depth with a side-scan sonar, water sensors or a camera. Its open software lets researchers and navies program their own behaviours, and it has been bought for hydrographic work and naval mine-countermeasure training.

Notas
RTsys's datasheet gives an 895 mm nominal length and 8.5 kg nominal weight (both sensor dependent), a 300 m depth rating, 2 to 6 kn speed and more than 10 hours endurance; trade press cites about 8 hours at 4 kn. Added payloads are limited to about 2 kg. Its open architecture lets users write their own mission software. Customers include the Slovenian Navy and France's hydrographic service Shom.
