Descripción general
Taiwan's indigenous 9 m attack drone boat that can launch loitering munitions or ram enemy vessels.
Kuai Chi is an uncrewed attack boat developed by Taiwan's state defence research institute NCSIST as a counter-invasion weapon. The roughly 9 m, 3-tonne craft, built on a Lungteh hull with two diesel outboards, reaches more than 40 knots and has an estimated range of about 500 km. It was shown with six forward tubes for Mighty Hornet loitering munitions, letting it strike targets from a distance, and it can also ram enemy vessels with a contact-fused bow warhead. It is designed to fit in a standard shipping container so large numbers can be dispersed along Taiwan's coast.
