Overview
Compact 3 m self-righting reconnaissance USV from UK firm JD Marine International.
The SXX3 is a small, fast reconnaissance drone boat from British company JD Marine International, about 3 metres long with a tough, self-righting plastic hull. Operators program a mission ashore and the boat carries it out on its own, sending tracking data and sensor feeds back and accepting a manual override if needed. It is aimed at military and police surveillance of coastlines and harbours, and has been shown to Baltic navies.

About 3 m long with an HDPE hull, self-righting and rated to sea state 5. Its level-4 autonomy lets an operator pre-program missions and override remotely. Baird Maritime gives a range of over 50 nmi, while propulsion supplier Proteum quotes 250 nmi and 35 kn, so range is not settled. It has been exhibited at Navy Tech in Estonia with interest from Baltic states.
