Ukrainian underwater attack drone that the SBU says crippled a Russian submarine inside Novorossiysk harbour.
Sub Sea Baby is an underwater attack drone fielded by Ukraine's Security Service (SBU), named after its Sea Baby surface drones. In December 2025 the SBU released video of an explosion at a submarine berth in Novorossiysk, the Black Sea Fleet's main base, and said a Sub Sea Baby had critically damaged a Kilo-class submarine able to launch Kalibr cruise missiles. If confirmed, it would be the first successful attack on a submarine by an underwater drone. Russia denied any damage, and the vehicle itself has not been shown publicly, so its size, range and warhead remain unknown.

Announced by the SBU on 15 December 2025 as a joint operation with the Ukrainian Navy; the SBU said a Project 636.3 (Kilo-class) submarine carrying Kalibr launchers was critically damaged. Reuters confirmed the video's location, but Russia's Black Sea Fleet said no vessel was damaged. Dimensions, range and warhead have not been published. Some reports link it to the Toloka TLK family; that link is unconfirmed.
