概述
Operationally proven Saab hybrid AUV/ROV for naval mine reconnaissance, identification, and disposal, deployable from ships, shore, or craft of opportunity.
Double Eagle SAROV is Saab's semi-autonomous remotely operated vehicle for naval mine countermeasures. The same 3 m platform can operate autonomously on internal batteries as an AUV for mine detection, classification, identification, underwater survey, and rapid environmental assessment, or as a tethered ROV for mine disposal. Saab publishes a 300 m operational depth, speed from zero to 6 knots, 730 kg weight in air, and dimensions of 3.0 x 1.3 x 0.8 m. Thin-fibre and combined power-and-communications tether options support real-time control and long-duration ROV work, while modular payloads and disposal charges let operators take a contact from reconnaissance through neutralisation without exposing divers or a crewed vessel to the minefield.

备注
Saab lists dimensions of 3.0 x 1.3 x 0.8 m, a 730 kg weight in air, and six-degree-of-freedom control. In ROV mode it can use a thin fibre tether for missions beyond 3 km or a combined power and communications tether, commonly 1,000 m long. Those tether lengths are not recorded as autonomous range.
