Overview
4.8 m self-righting hybrid USV from Germany's Lemvos built for month-long missions.
The LM450 is a small, rugged uncrewed boat from Augsburg-based Lemvos, designed to stay out at sea for weeks. A diesel generator and solar panels keep its batteries charged for about a month of operation, and when paired with the company's floating DockMaster station it can recharge and keep working for up to six months. Two electric thrusters that can point in any direction give it precise control, and its self-righting plastic hull recovers from a capsize in heavy seas.

Notes
Lemvos's brochure lists a 4.8 m HDPE self-righting hull (5.3 m with payload deck), 1.8 m beam, 630 kg dry displacement, two 5 kW omnidirectional electric thrusters and a 5.5 kn top speed, rated for sea state 6. Power comes from a 3.5 kW diesel generator and 350 W of solar with a 12.8 kWh battery and 170 L of diesel. Endurance is 30 days as a diesel-solar hybrid, 34 hours fully electric, or up to six months when paired with the company's DockMaster docking station. Payload is up to 330 kg.
