Overview

46 ft optionally crewed patrol boat and USV from Swiftships.

Challenger is a 46-foot high-speed boat from Louisiana shipbuilder Swiftships that can be run with a crew or as an uncrewed vessel. Its V-shaped hull exceeds 45 knots, and it can stay out for more than 40 hours and carry nearly eight tonnes of mission equipment. Swiftships builds its unmanned control to NATO and JAUS standards so the boat can plug into existing naval command systems.

Swiftships lists a 46 ft (14 m) V-hull, a top speed over 45 kn, endurance over 40 hours, a 400 nmi range (converted to km) and a 7.7-ton modular payload. Control follows NATO STANAG 4586 and JAUS standards so it can be run crewed or uncrewed.
