Overview

7 m optionally crewed boat from Al Marakeb, sold for both military and commercial use.

The B7X is a 7-metre boat from the UAE's Al Marakeb that can be driven by a crew of one or two or run without anyone aboard. Launched in late 2017, it was pitched as the first mass-produced dual-use USV offered for commercial sale. It builds on the purely uncrewed B7 shown at IDEX 2015, adding a helm and Al Marakeb's MAP Pro conversion kit. Radar, AIS and electro-optical sensors feed a collision-warning system, and the company quotes up to 48 hours of running between refuels.

Notes

The B7X is an optionally crewed version of the 7 m B7 USV that first appeared at IDEX 2015. Al Marakeb's MAP Pro kit lets it switch between a one- or two-person crew and uncrewed operation from a ground station. The company claims 48 hours of endurance and a radar, AIS and EO/IR collision-warning system.
