概述
Schilling Robotics' 250 hp ultra-heavy-duty work-class ROV built for the toughest drilling and subsea construction jobs.
UHD-III is the flagship ultra-heavy-duty ROV from Schilling Robotics, the Californian robotics company owned by TechnipFMC, whose vehicles and manipulator arms are found across the offshore industry. The 5.6-tonne vehicle is 3.5 m long, works at 3,000 m or 4,000 m, and delivers 250 horsepower, with 1,200 kgf of horizontal thrust from seven thrusters to hold position in strong currents. A separate 150 hp auxiliary circuit and the ISOL-8 pump can drive heavy tools or close a blowout preventer in an emergency, meeting API 53 requirements, and the vehicle carries up to 450 kg of tooling. Drilling contractors and subsea installers use it for construction, heavy lift, and intervention on deepwater fields.
