7-8 m long-endurance diesel-electric ASVs from SeaRobotics for quiet acoustic survey.
SR-Endurance is SeaRobotics' family of long-endurance autonomous survey boats, in 7- and 8-metre sizes. A hybrid diesel-electric system lets them run quietly on batteries for sensitive acoustic work, then recharge with the diesel, giving campaigns of up to nine days and over 1,000 nautical miles. The self-righting 8-metre version handles four-metre waves and carries 600 kg of sonars or other equipment on a large aft deck.

The SR-Endurance 8.0 is an 8 m self-righting hybrid diesel-electric ASV with a 9 kn top speed, 5 kn survey speed, campaigns of up to 9 days, over 1,000 nmi range (converted to km), a 600 kg payload and a 3.7 x 1.5 m aft bay; it is rated for 4 m waves and Beaufort 7, with radar, lidar and AIS collision avoidance. The 7 m SR-Endurance 7.0 tows sonars, uses dipping sonar or carries ROV gear, with about six days at survey speed and ten hours on battery.
