Low-cost 5.9 m aluminium target and training USV from L3Harris.
Polecat is a small, inexpensive uncrewed boat from L3Harris's ASV business, built mainly to play the part of a fast attack craft in naval gunnery and training. Its aluminium hull can be repaired by any welder, and a single-point lift lets almost any ship launch it. It can follow pre-set routes on its own or be driven remotely, and spare power and processing let researchers use it as a testbed for their own autonomy software or sensors.

Geo-matching's listing gives a 5.863 m aluminium hull, 0.85 m draft and up to 1,150 kg, a 130 hp inboard diesel (150 or 170 hp optional) with a 50 L tank (230 L extra optional), 33 kn top speed and 12 kn transit. L3Harris's datasheet quoted 8 hours at 30 kn, 20 hours at 20 kn, 408 miles at 12 kn and a 400 kg payload. Single-point lift lets it be launched from many vessels, and options include obstacle avoidance, route planning, follow-target modes, ballistic protection and extra processors for third-party autonomy trials.
