Обзор

Large Russian deep-diving autonomous underwater vehicle carried by the special-mission submarine Belgorod.

Klavesin-2R-PM, known in English as Harpsichord, is a large autonomous underwater vehicle designed by Russia's Rubin bureau for deep-sea search and seabed work. The torpedo-shaped vehicle is roughly 6.5-7 m long, about 1 m in diameter, and weighs around 4 tonnes. Rubin rates the search version to 6,000 m, deeper than its earlier Yunona design, and it operates within about 50 km of the ship or submarine that launches it. It carries sonars, electromagnetic sensors, and cameras to map and inspect the seabed, and analysts link it to intelligence gathering on undersea infrastructure. It is carried by the special-mission submarine Belgorod, in a hangar on its back, and has also been deployed from hydrographic ships.

Примечания

Rubin documentation describes a search version rated to 6,000 m. Reported length is 6.5-7 m, diameter about 1 m, weight about 3.7-4 tonnes, and operating radius about 50 km from the carrier. One blog source claims only about 2,000 m depth.
