21 ft low-cost attack and ISR drone boat from Metal Shark, based on its Navy target boat.
The HSMUSV is a 21-foot uncrewed strike and surveillance boat that Metal Shark builds on the same hull as the hundreds of target boats it supplies to the US Navy. It reaches nearly 40 knots, covers more than 500 nautical miles at 25 knots and can loiter for about ten days. Bays fore and aft take drones, sensors or weapons; at its 2025 debut it carried a six-round launcher for Switchblade loitering munitions. Metal Shark pitches it as an affordable, mass-producible boat at well under half a million dollars each.

Based on Metal Shark's Relentless-class hull, over 400 of which serve as US Navy high-speed maneuvering surface targets. Range is over 500 nmi at 25 kn (converted to km), top speed nearly 40 kn and loiter time about ten days at low speed, with diesel or gasoline engines. It was shown carrying AeroVironment's six-round launcher for Switchblade 300 loitering munitions. Metal Shark quoted a production rate of one per day and a unit cost well under $500,000.
