Visão geral
Solar-powered 4.8 m uncrewed surface vehicle for persistent ocean data collection, communications relay, and sensor payload missions.
SeaTrac SP-48 is a dual-use, solar-powered uncrewed surface vehicle developed by SeaTrac Systems in Massachusetts. It is built around persistent ocean data collection, communications relay, environmental monitoring, hydrography, mobile subsea positioning, metocean sensing, and maritime-domain-awareness missions. Official specifications describe a 4.8 m USV with 70 kg payload capacity, up to 500 W payload power for day-long missions, solar-supported operation, 5 kt maximum speed, months of endurance, self-righting keel, over-the-horizon operations, automated collision avoidance, and support for payloads including ADCPs, multibeam sonar, side-scan sonar, sub-bottom profilers, environmental samplers, hydrophones, acoustic modems, USBL/LBL systems, cameras, radar, and custom radios.
