Visão geral
Compact expendable mine-identification and disposal ROV used by numerous navies to inspect and neutralize underwater mines from a safe distance.
SeaFox is a compact fibre-optic mine-disposal ROV from TKMS ATLAS ELEKTRONIK and one of the most recognisable modern mine-neutralisation systems. Operators use its sonar and optical camera to identify a contact, then the expendable combat variant destroys the mine with a shaped charge while the crew and host vessel remain outside the immediate hazard. The current official product page lists a 1.31 m length, 0.39 m diameter, 43 kg mass, and speed greater than 5 knots. Reusable identification and expendable disposal configurations let naval mine-countermeasure forces move rapidly from classification to neutralisation.
