Visão geral
British high-speed 8.4 m autonomous attack and patrol boat, mass-produced in Germany with Rheinmetall.
K3 Scout is a fast uncrewed surface vessel from the UK's Kraken Technology Group and one of Europe's first mass-produced combat USVs. The production model is an 8.4 m composite boat with a 1.93 m beam that displaces up to 2.5 tonnes, reaches about 55 knots, has a range of up to 650 nautical miles, and can stay out for up to 30 days. Its 600 kg payload bay takes interchangeable mission kits, from cameras and radar such as Saab's Giraffe 1X for drone detection to weapons and electronic-warfare equipment, so it can scout, protect ships and ports, support special forces, or strike. It can be carried by air, road, or sea with little preparation. The Royal Navy has ordered 20, and in 2026 Kraken and Rheinmetall's joint venture began series production at Blohm+Voss in Hamburg at around 200 boats a year, with capacity to reach 1,000.
