Visão geral
7.5 m long-endurance autonomous workboat from L3Harris used for offshore survey and subsea positioning.
C-Worker 7 is a 7.5 m autonomous workboat originally developed by the UK's ASV Global, now part of L3Harris, and one of the most widely used offshore survey USVs. A hybrid diesel-electric plant drives twin azimuth thrusters, giving the precise station-keeping needed to track subsea equipment, and the boat can stay at sea for up to 25 days without refuelling. A large central moonpool with interchangeable frames lets operators fit multibeam echosounders, USBL positioning systems, acoustic modems, or oceanographic sensors. Offshore energy and survey companies use it to position and communicate with ROVs and AUVs, support seismic work, and collect seabed and environmental data, with operators supervising remotely through L3Harris's ASView control system.
