Descripción general
5 m hybrid catamaran survey USV from Unique Group, part of its Uni-Pact and Uni-Mini range.
The Uni-Max is a 5-metre uncrewed survey catamaran from Unique Group, a Dubai-based subsea and survey equipment company. Electric motors fed by batteries and a small generator let it work for days at survey speed, mapping harbours, coastlines and shallow waters that are awkward or unsafe for crewed boats. It can carry a winch for lowering instruments, a lidar and cameras, and sits at the top of a family that also includes the smaller Uni-Pact and Uni-Mini.

Unique Group's brochure gives a 5 m length (Baird Maritime says 4.8 m), 2.2 m beam and 1,200 kg weight without payload, with two Torqeedo Cruise 6.0RS motors and a hybrid generator and lithium-ion battery system. Endurance is up to 96 hours on battery, or up to six days at 3 to 5 kn survey speed. A draught just under 1 m suits shallow water. It carries Simrad radar, cameras, 4G and Wi-Fi links. The smaller Uni-Pact, introduced in 2020 as the company's first mid-range USV, and the Uni-Mini complete the family.
