Descripción general

HII's two-person-portable third-generation successor to the REMUS 100 for shallow-water missions.

REMUS 130 is the third generation of HII's small REMUS line, replacing the long-serving REMUS 100 in shallow-water roles. The 2 m, 48.5 kg vehicle can be carried by two people, dives to 100 m, and runs for about 10 hours at survey speed with a range of around 55 km, while field-swappable batteries keep it working between missions. It shares electronics, navigation, and HII's Odyssey autonomy software with the larger REMUS 300 and 620, so operators can move between vehicles easily. Typical missions are mine countermeasures, search and recovery, and environmental assessment, with optional payload space for ISR or anti-submarine sensors. HII delivered the first unit to a U.S. ally in June 2026.
