Descripción general
Professional portable ROV with three guest ports for inspection work and expandable underwater sensor payloads.
Blueye X3 is a dual-use ROV platform developed by Blueye Robotics in Norway. It is a portable professional underwater drone for detailed inspection and challenging underwater operations, with a compact 8.6 kg body, automatic heading and depth support, and a modular payload approach built around three guest ports. It is positioned for subsea inspection, aquaculture inspection, hull inspection, search and recovery, and sensor integration missions and is listed publicly as active. Published specifications captured in this database include a length of about 0.485 m, a published depth rating of 305 m / 1000 ft, a normal-use forward speed of 1.5 m/s / 3 knots, and runtime of about 2 hours on the standard battery or up to 5 hours on the high-capacity battery. The platform supports grippers, manipulators, sonars, acoustic positioning systems, environmental sensors, external lights, and external cameras, making it a flexible inspection-class ROV rather than a single-purpose camera drone.
