概述
Brazil's leading autonomous survey boat, used for hydrography, Petrobras offshore work, and Brazilian Navy support.
USV Tupan is the flagship autonomous boat of Brazilian company TideWise and the best-known Brazilian uncrewed surface vessel. The original Tupan is a 4.92 m, 1.3-tonne craft with a diesel generator feeding two electric propellers, giving up to 6.5 knots and as much as a week at sea without refuelling while powering about 1 kW of sensors. It carries multibeam, side-scan, and sub-bottom sonars for hydrographic and seabed surveys. Tupan became the first uncrewed vessel registered with the Brazilian Navy, a Tupan II supported navy underwater search operations, and in 2026 TideWise used Tupan in a Petrobras hydrographic survey of an offshore wind area. The company is also building larger vessels, including a mine-countermeasure USV with EMGEPRON.
