Descripción general
German hydrogen fuel-cell AUV with months-long endurance for undersea surveillance and infrastructure protection.
Greyshark is a family of military AUVs from Bremen-based Euroatlas, with distinctive shark-inspired hulls shaped for efficiency and agility. The flagship Foxtrot variant is 7.99 m long, has a 1.8 m beam, weighs about 5 tonnes, and uses a hydrogen fuel-cell air-independent power system. Euroatlas publishes a 10-knot cruise speed, more than 12 knots maximum, 1,100 nautical miles at 10 knots, and up to 8,000 nautical miles at 4 knots, which works out to roughly four months submerged. The smaller battery-electric Bravo is 6.5 m long and lasts about five days. Both are rated to 650 m, extendable to 4,000 m, and carry modular sensors for ISR, mine detection, and protection of pipelines and cables, with Baltic Sea testing a priority.
