Descripción general
Dutch 7 m offshore survey USV built for dredging contractor Van Oord and the first DNV type-approved Dutch USV.
The DUS V5750 is a 7 m uncrewed surface vessel from DEMCON Unmanned Systems, the drone branch of Dutch high-tech group DEMCON. Developed for marine contractor Van Oord, it is larger than DEMCON's earlier inland and harbour survey boats and is meant for offshore hydrographic survey, inspection, environmental monitoring, and security patrols. Despite its size it fits in a standard 20 ft shipping container for transport. It became the first Dutch USV to receive DNV type approval under the Standard for Craft, a certification that lets DEMCON build it in series for commercial operators.
